Welcome to the Green Acorn Coffee Shop at the Middlebank Golf Centre Our coffee shop is not only open to patrons of the golf center but ot the general public. We believe in sourcing our ingredients locally and producing tatsy food in a warm, comfortable relaxing environment.

One of our specialties is Afternoon tea and this is available Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm – 5pm

We can cater for 30 people –and we are available for private hire to clubs, organisations or your own party requirements.

Our Bread is all hand made by a local artisan baker and all of our products are suitable for vegans and vegetarians and of our meat lovers, all of our meat is from a local butcher.

Gareth Couzens – PGA Professional

Gareth Couzens is an experienced Golf Instructor with over twenty years experience. In running his golf academy, GC GOLF, based at Middlebank Golf Centre, he relishes the challenge that teaching golf brings and in continuing to expand his knowledge he ensures that he delivers coaching of the highest quality. This knowledge and enthusiasm alongside his approachable nature has ensured his success at nurturing golfers of all ages and abilities. Dedicated to the development of junior golf he coordinates an extensive Junior Development Programme which now attracts over 90 children each week for 17 weeks of the year. Alongside a busy individual lesson diary he continues to develop junior golf programmes as well as ladies, seniors and corporate-based groups from the surrounding Dundee and Perthshire areas. Gareth moved north of the border from Wynyard Golf Club in Teesside in 2007. Since qualifying as a PGA Professional he has accrued a wide range of experience in working in the golf industry from playing full-time to being Head Assistant Professional and Junior Liaison Officer at a busy corporate based golf where he worked in conjunction with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Over the last fifteen years in Tayside he has developed a comprehensive knowledge of golf techniques and built a substantial and varied client base helping many golfers achieve their goals.
